About Me

About Me

I am currently a medical student pursuing a non-clinical MD degree at Blue Marble University and plan to focus on holistic fitness and wellness in order to be able to coach clients towards a better quality of life.  As a certified fitness coach, I am committed to coaching families especially on their fitness and wellness journey.  My passion is helping families, especially children, improve their overall wellness through guided fitness, proper nutrition and meditation techniques to improve overall wellbeing.  I go above and beyond due to my love and passion for helping children, especially children in marginalized communities where proper nutrition and exercise are usually not prioritized.  I strive to offer sensitive and compassionate guidance to help improve desired outcomes for my clients.  I continue to educate myself in order to provide a safe and loving environment for every child I have the pleasure of coaching.  In addition, I desire to educate my clients with the most current recent, research-based information.  I believe to improve the welfare of children we must also educate the parents.  I have learned that the leading causes of death among individuals in underdeveloped nations are hunger and infectious diseases.  Environmental factors like unhygienic conditions, tainted water, and unstable food supply may increase vulnerability to dangerous diseases.

Having gained an awareness that the leading causes of illness among individuals in underdeveloped nations are hunger, infectious diseases as well as environmental factors including unhygienic conditions, tainted water, and unstable food supply, I have set out a long-term goal to establish fitness and wellness centers in sub–Saharan Africa.  With roots planted firmly in Africa, I daydreamed about the potential of the African youth.  I considered the harm that rising teen and child death rates, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa, were causing by depleting the society.  Imagine if they had the strength and opportunity to finish their schooling. How many brilliant minds have been robbed of opportunity by life’s whims? Couldanything be done to make things better? My parents and grandparents have set a wonderful example for me by gathering thoughtful gifts to donate to underprivileged African children.  This became the impetus that led to the founding of Junior Ambassadors for Sustainability (JAMs) by me, my brother, and my sister in 2018 : JAMs is an initiative to help kids who are at risk of poverty finish their education.  As the group worked, I considered further ways to help these kids which led to my decision to eventually build and manage wellness facilities across locations around Africa where people struggle to get attention for their basic fitness and wellness needs.  Blue Oceans Spa & Wellness Center will serve as a center where families, especially children can get research-based guidance to improve their overall fitness and wellness.

I plan to devote my professional life to helping people, specifically children, by building wellness centers that will offer research-based guidance to improve overall fitness and wellness communities.  I have a passionate interest in using holistic, organic approaches to promote total well-being and balance.  I believe this drive places me in a unique position to target the source of a problem and outcomes in marginalized identify natural remedies for better physical fitness.
